A Review That’s a Straight-up Dream Come True – Thank You, BroadwayWorld!

Almost a week later, it still doesn’t feel real.

It took me a whole day to get up the confidence to fully read the thing once I found out that the amazing Bobby Patrick had posted a review to BroadwayWorld.

With a hot cup of tea in hand and a bit of chocolate nearby to eat as a salve for my potential emotional wound, I dug into the review of Indulgence with Lucy Darling at the Triad Theater.

Instead of bravely bearing the whole thing, I was delighted to find the best-case scenario, a glowing account that reads like a playful list of potential pull quotes. Lucy was referred to as “an upper-crust Mae West crossed with a ginger Jayne Mansfield,” and, apparently, my “magic moves delight all and create gasps in the stalls.”

I was thrilled to be back at the beautiful Triad Theater, so soon after the last run, playing to sold-out houses with the amazing Mark Ettinger at my side. However, it is the additional delight of a 5-STAR review, not to mention the incredible photos taken by the exceptional Stephen Mosher, that really pushed this particular run over the edge.

Thank you so much to Bobby and Stephen, I’m so thrilled you both had a good time.
