What's a summer break without work? We wouldn't know! Though we have been getting some blissful rest, we've also kept busy with various projects. We've updated some aspects of the show experience, hosted a seminar on touring, put together our Fall 2026 US tour, and have even started looking beyond…
Road Ready - Variety Arts Touring Intensive
Our first seminar focused on sharing what we've learned about touring. It was a rousing success! We found that most touring knowledge has to be gained through experience, but we know that our experiences would have been much better if we had been taught what to expect. Hence, Road Ready!
For three days we crammed in as much as we could (and, to be honest, we ran over each day because we had so much to share) and we're already hearing success stories from attendees.
We can’t wait for next year!

Lucy Travels Overseas
As anyone who has thoroughly studied their history books knows, Lucy Darling first took the stage in 2017 in Melbourne, Australia. She hasn't been back since 2019, but how could one pass up the opportunity to celebrate 10 years in the very place it all began? So we're going Down Under, friends! We'll be visiting several cities in Australia, and even pop over to New Zealand.
And after that… Europe! We had such a great time in the UK and Ireland this year, but the trip was far too short and localized, so we're traveling the continent this time around!
We're still in the process of scheduling, so we don't have any information to share other than "2027." So I guess just go ahead and block out the entire year for us? Is that reasonable? And Maybe Later… On the Seas?
Okay, this one is very much in the earliest "well that's an idea" stage, but imagine for a moment you're on a cruise ship. But it's not your typical floating vacation. It's the Lucy Cruisey!
What does that mean? We're not sure yet! When will it be? We also don't know! (But it wouldn't be before 2028.) We are in initial talks with a cruise line, and right now we need to get a sense of how interested all of you are. So please, fill out this survey. It should take less than five minutes, unless you really want to go into detail with the four open text response questions.
