Always the Artist

Hendrix received art supplies for many childhood Christmases & birthdays. It came as no surprise to friends and family when she submitted her portfolio and began her formal education in both classic and modern techniques at the Alberta College of Art & Design from 2007-2010. During her studies, in 2009, she was selected for a paid juried gallery showing of her Time Base, Performative Installation “Private Space” at the Epcor Centre for the Performing Arts which was later published in a book documenting the work and the process.

Hendrix continues to create artwork and hand crafted props for her performances in her Calgary, AB studio & workshop.
